Hola!
Since my last post, we've visited two more cities, and spent three nights in each. The weather for both cities has been less than ideal. Since leaving Sevilla, it has gotten colder, and much, much wetter. It has been raining on and off almost every day. So, we saw many a monument and building in the pouring rain, with wet shoes, and cold. Yet everything was so pretty that I still feel as though it was all worth it! On with the reviews...Crdoba was alright. We got to see the Mezquita, or Mosque, which dates back to 784. After the Reconquista it was converted to a Cathedral. Our tour guide was a little, older lady, and she was very quiet, and talked about the different kinds of pillars in the building far more than I thought was necessary. The building itself, however, was very impressive, despite the gloomy day.

Lots and lots of those pillars and archways, a lot of religious symbolism (both Muslim and Christian) and gold plated this or that. Very cool, if you're into very old, majestic looking buildings.
After finishing looking around the Mosque, a few of us went to find food, and then wander around the general vicinity. This is when I discovered that my camera can zoom, and then it can ZOOM. It can take really close-up pictures (apparently), so hopefully there will be some interesting shots as a result.
We wandered down to a bridge area, and there were some cool sites to see.
Old water wheel.
The bridge that we found.

Random building/staircase visible from the bridge. I couldn't really figure out it's purpose.

Just a fun sticker/drawing found on the back of a stop sign.
All in all Crdoba was fun, but not nearly as exciting as Granada!
