Since my last post, we've visited two more cities, and spent three nights in each. The weather for both cities has been less than ideal. Since leaving Sevilla, it has gotten colder, and much, much wetter. It has been raining on and off almost every day. So, we saw many a monument and building in the pouring rain, with wet shoes, and cold. Yet everything was so pretty that I still feel as though it was all worth it! On with the reviews...
Crdoba was alright. We got to see the Mezquita, or Mosque, which dates back to 784. After the Reconquista it was converted to a Cathedral. Our tour guide was a little, older lady, and she was very quiet, and talked about the different kinds of pillars in the building far more than I thought was necessary. The building itself, however, was very impressive, despite the gloomy day.
